Day 2: Ransi to Gaundhar (Trek)

After breakfast, start the trek from Ransi village. The trail passes through lush forests, traditional Garhwali villages, and terraced fields. Today’s trek is the most rewarding. The trail ascends through rhododendron and oak forests, with panoramic views of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, and Mandani peaks. After a steady climb, reach Madhmaheshwar Temple (3,497 m), an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple’s serene surroundings and stunning mountain backdrop create a truly divine atmosphere. Overnight stay at Madhmaheshwar.

Day 4: Explore Madhmaheshwar and Budha Madhmaheshwar → Return to Gaundhar (Trek)

Wake up early to witness sunrise on Chaukhamba and Kedarnath peaks. A short trek above the temple takes you to Budha Madhmaheshwar, a high-altitude meadow offering spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. After exploring, descend back to Gaundhar for an overnight stay.
